The Florida Society of Certified Public Managers Southwest Florida Chapter will be holding a training event with Alton L. “Rip” Colvin, Jr. to discuss “Developing a Culture of Want.”

Alton L. “Rip” Colvin, Jr., the Justice Administrative Commission’s Executive Director, began his tenure on July 19, 2010. He is both a Certified Public Accountant and Florida Certified Government Finance Officer, and earned his designation as a Certified Public Manager. Mr. Colvin previously worked with the Florida Legislature for 18 years, including five years as the Executive Director of the Florida Legislative Committee on Intergovernmental Relations, ten years as a Legislative Analyst with the Legislative Auditing Committee, and over two years as an auditor with the Office of the Auditor General.
